En Anzé – Petite Arvine

CHF32.00

A wine that elegantly and gracefully expresses the terroir of Saillon, resulting in a lively young Arvine that also has excellent ageing potential. Grown in one of Saillon’s finest terroirs, this Arvine offers a nose of citrus, orange blossom and jasmine. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich yet fresh, perfectly dry, with a finish that could be described as mineral.

Description

Terroir: In Anzé, at an altitude of 530 metres. Sandy-loam soil. These are fairly deep loess deposits on moraines, with a very low clay content. The soil texture is somewhat similar to that found in the commune of Fully, but with a notable difference in the limestone content, which is much higher here. Vinification and ageing in vats for 10 months on the lees, followed by 3 months in bottle.
