From a terroir included in Les Follatères, this Syrah offers an expressive nose of grapefruit and Timut pepper. The wine is very juicy, full-bodied, wild, yet refined in texture, with unexpected freshness. It ages beautifully.

Terroir des Tatzes (or Les Tâches), 510 to 565 metres above sea level. South-east facing. Loess soils on rock. Winegrowers call them “red soils”. Prone to rapid evaporation, they are poor in nutrients and very well-drained. Very shallow soils directly overlying gneiss, practically free of diclases and faults.
