Les Follatères is a wonderful terroir. We own around 2.5 hectares of vines there, plus 1.5 hectares of nature. The eponymous nature reserve, between Dorénaz and Fully, covers 500 hectares of dry grass, rocks and sparse forests, articulating the spectacular bend of the Rhône.

Under the influence of the continental and Lake Geneva climates, it experiences early natural flowering: bulbocode appears in January, followed by a succession of species until the spring orchids. This area, one of the most geologically rich in the Alps, marks the transition between limestone, flysch and crystalline rocks such as gneiss and granite.
The landscape alternates between vineyards, oak groves, pine forests, rocky steppes and holly forests. The fauna is exceptional: butterflies, rare or endangered birds, birds of prey, as well as chamois, ibex, lynx, deer and wild boar. It is a natural gem, and the wines produced there , reflect this: they are aromatic, luminous and wild. They have the scent of the wind and the freshness of crystalline soils. They are memorable.
